TECHNILAINE implementation is the same as rock wool implementation in attic spaces. Put or roll up the insulation product on the former floor, cross each coatings to reduce thermal bridges in attic spaces. After this, you have several choices for setting up the vapour retarder:
- If you have enough air above your insulation material and if your attic spaces is protected by a rain cap you don’t need a vapour retarder.
- The more you have air venlitated volume around your attic space, the less you need a vapour retarder (only if don’t cover your insulating material with airtight or waterproof panels)

vapour retarder implementation in an attic space
Put the vapour retarder on the floor of the attic space and use the glue and the adhesive for a maximum air and water tightness.
It is important to take your time and to be very meticulous during this stage. It is the key for a sustainable durability of your insulation.
Take care of all the edges of the attic space.
