Thermal insulation & acoustic insulation in hemp and lime

To insulate your old stone walls, cob walls, brick walls, you can use lime and hemp. Depending on the type of wall, the hempcrete’s thickness can be variable, which will also determine the thermal and acoustic comfort of your home.

Some examples of “basic thickness” :

Old stone or cob walls (min 50cm) = 5 to 6 cm of hemp and lime
Red brick masonry (G7 type) and concrete block (thickness: 20 cm) = 10 cm of hemp and lime (sheeting)
